Noma Jean Bumgarner Wike's Obituary
Noma Jean Bumgarner Wike went to her heavenly reward on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 9:00 am, at her residence in Longview, TX surrounded by her family.
Noma was born October 15, 1931 to James Francis “Frank” Bumgarner and Mary Josephine Tucker Bumgarner, in Wetumka, OK. Her parents as well as three sisters, three brothers and two half-brothers preceded her in death.
On January 24, 1954, Noma married Grady Monroe “Monte” Wike, Jr. and he survives her. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children; Laura Flack and husband Bruce of Wood River, IL; Greg Wike and wife Nancy of Midland, TX; Bruce Wike and wife Lisa of Longview, TX; Doug Wike and wife Pam of Dallas, TX; Sarah Emerson and husband Paul of Longview; sister, June Cox and husband Bob of Newalla, OK; four half-sisters, Claudine Brown, Janette Yingling, Jo Nelson, Evelyn Newton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Also surviving are Grandchildren, Michael, Susanne, Lana, Mandy, Mallory, Regina, Matt, Tiffany, Brittany, Cassie, Kaelie, Chloe, Ellie, Mary, Gavin, Samuel and Kieran; Great-Grandchildren, Brendan, Davis, Camden, JaLaynie, Luke, Libby, Jennedy, Caramie, Skylee, Lynden, Everly, Jadyn, Bailey, Brogan, Brooklyn, Hayden, Hudson, Haddie, Seth and Logan; and Great-Great-Grandchild, Carter.
Celebration of Life services for Noma will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Rev. Shannon Pickard, Pastor of Revive Church in Longview, TX officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park, Longview, TX. Family visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am prior to the service in the chapel.
