Graveside services for Nola E. Young, 95, a long time resident of Longview will be held at 10 AM Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Memory Park Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home, 1617 Judson Road. Mrs. Young was born on January 24, 1912 in Dublin to Henry Pope and Ida Jones. She passed away on March 7, 2007 in a Longview nursing facility.
She was a member of Wesley McCabe United Methodist Church where she was active with the craft group and women's group. She was also a teller with Longview National Bank until retiring in 1977.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cecil A. Young; son, David Young; as well as 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by one granddaughter, Diane Frame and her husband Shane of McKinney; grandson, Dr. William Young of Dallas; one great granddaughter, Mackinlee Grace Frame of McKinney; numerous nieces and nephews; including a special niece, Jolene Cullum of Austin.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in honor of Mrs. Young to a charity or church of choice.
