Noah Benjamin Walton's Obituary
Noah Benjamin Walton was the rambunctious, intelligent, compassionate, and very, very brave two-year-old son of Jack and Erinn Walton of Hallsville. He passed away at his home on Friday, October 14, 2016 after an 8-month battle with brain cancer. With his sparkly eyes, an open-mouth smile, and incessant conversation, Noah immediately became the light of the room no matter where he was. He had a tender heart, a love for people, and he lived life full-speed-ahead! Noah’s favorite things included riding his bike, playing with his train set, his Momo’s popsicles, and getting really dirty outside. He loved to sing and could usually be found performing “Jesus Loves Me” or his own rendition of Chris Tomlin’s “Lay Me Down.” He loved being at church, at Tatum Eagle ball games, and especially going on “woofing jobs” with his daddy. His very favorite story was David and Goliath, and he requested it every single night at bedtime. He was a little man in-training, and he and his brother always “protected Mama and the girls” while Daddy was at work. To say he will be missed, is a vast understatement.
While Noah is gone from our sight right now, we know that the grave has no victory. Jesus Christ has conquered death, and so we eagerly await the day we meet our Savior and are reunited with our sweet little boy. Those left longing for that day include Noah’s daddy and mama, Jack and Erinn Walton as well as his loving sisters and brother Laynie, Katie, Micah, and Jack III, and his special “sister” cousin Haleigh Walton, all of Hallsville. His Momo, Mary Walton of Hallsville; his Granny, Felecia Tyler of Hallsville; his O’Dad and BamBam, Terry and Renee Cloud of Hallsville; his Poppy, Steve Johnson of Henderson, his Granny Evans, Lenora Evans Good Springs, his PaPaw and Mamaw, Lloyd and Rita LaFleur of Hallsville, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and very good friends.
Memorial services for Noah will be on October 22, 2016 at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Longview, TX. Visitation will be held before the service at 1PM with the service at 2PM. The family is setting up Noah’s Ark Foundation to help other families with sick children. Donations can be made to the Noah Walton Benefit account at Community Bank in Hallsville which will be rolled into the Noah’s Ark Foundation account when the legal paperwork is complete. This can be done in person or on Facebook through the “Prayers for Noah” page.
