Nita Vickers' Obituary
Born: April 23, 1938, went to be with her Lord on December 31, 2021
Nita aka: Granny by all that knew her, was a woman with a huge heart, she loved her family and friends. Nita loved serving, as she did by teaching children’s Sunday school and assisting the church bus drivers for over 30 years.
Nita was preceded in death by her parents George and Elizabeth Hughes, 10 brothers and sisters, husband Marshal Vickers, son Paul Wigington, and granddaughter Taylor Ehrensberger.
Nita is survived by her sister Jo Harris, daughter Gale Nix and husband David, six grandchildren; Jerry Barnes, Wayne Barnes and wife Rachel Barnes, Jason Nix, Billy Collom and wife Tina Collom. Six great grandchildren; Balze Collom and wife Holly Collom, Keanan Nix, Daigen Barnes, and Bladen Collom.
Services will be Friday, January the 7th, 2 pm at Rosewood Park Cemetery, 1884 Fm 1844, Longview, TX 75605.
