Memorial services for Nina Tiller Arbegast, 79, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. A Celebration of Life will follow at Posados Mexican Café, 110 Triple Creek Dr., in Longview. In honoring her request, cremation arrangements are under the direction of the funeral home.
Mrs. Arbegast was born February 22, 1933 in Hooks, TX to Raymond and Bonnie Tiller. She was a resident of Lake Cherokee for the past 15 years, and was a former resident of Gilmer. She was a graduate of Nursing School in Lubbock, TX, and graduated at the top of her class. She was formerly employed at the Gilmer Convalescent Center and the Gilmer Hospital. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, Richard "Dick" Arbegast of Lake Cherokee; children, Brenda Beaumier and late husband Bill of Cape Coral, FL, Cindy Pauvlinch and husband John of Muskogee, OK, and Richard Arbegast and wife Laura of Lake Cherokee; special friend and former daughter-in-law, Annita Estes and husband Stuart of Lake Cherokee; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Gresham and husband Bill of Albuquerque, NM and Ramona Smith and husband Freddie of Malvern, AR; brother, Larry Tiller and wife Carol of Memphis, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.
