Nina Lea Allen's Obituary
Nina Lea Allen, 26, of Longview, passed away on Sunday morning in Longview. She was born on May 4, 1996, in Longview, to Eric William and Heather Lea Allen. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 PM at Life Church of Longview, 5533 W. Loop 281, and a service celebrating her life will be held at 1 PM Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the church.
Nina graduated Trinity School of Texas in 2014. During her high school career she was very active in sports and was called the “Class Clown” because she loved to make people laugh. She loved her parents and loved spending time with her family. She made a huge impact in the lives of her friends and family. She had a true passion for animals, children, the elderly, and made everyone she met feel important and loved. Nina loved to travel and try new things. She was known as a peacemaker. Nina also loved all types of music. She knew the words to countless songs and loved to sing no matter the genre. Her biggest pride was her little sister, Ayla. She never missed an opportunity to talk about Ayla, and she was a great role model to her sister.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jo (Jody) Valine Allen.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents; her sister; her maternal grandmother, Margie Morris; maternal grandfather, Trey Smith and wife Tammy; paternal grandfather, Howard W. Allen, Jr; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Nina loved her work and was passionate about animal care and adoption. She worked for over 4 years at Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center and will be deeply missed by all her work family and friends. During her time there, she helped adopt out more than 6,000 animals to loving families. To honor her passion, the family would be honored if you would consider making a memorial donation in her name to LongviewPaws.org. You may also deliver a memorial donation to any Texas Bank and Trust branch location referencing “Heather Allen – For the Benefit of Nina Allen”.
