I was so sorry to hear that Niko has passed away. I know that he was so very loved by his family . Especially , his Mother Michelle, whom took such great care of Niko through his years of therapy and illness. He far surpassed the years the doctors had given. And that is because he was strong, his Mothers love for her children is unconditional and his family bond is forever unbreakable. My prayers are with you and I know that Niko has always been an angel that we were blessed to have if only for a short time here on earth but forever in heaven watching over !

Niko, you were my favorite special little guy. You were so much fun to be with. Your smile and laugh lit up every room. You didn't let anything stop you, no matter how difficult. I remember a day at HHS where you were frustrated with your walker and started crying. I ran up and said "hey, Niko! Come on, you can do it! Race me!" And you smiled so big, kicked forward, and man did you go! \= You are an inspiration to anyone going through tough times. I'll miss those smiles and fun times doing puzzles you LOVED the puppy pieces, they made you laugh. I'll miss the sound of you laughing whenever one of us "accidently" fell down. You just got hysterical! You will be so missed, lil buddy, and even though I'm crying while writing this, I'm comforted by the fact that I will see you again. Looking forward to racing you again in heaven. I'll have to train pretty hard though, you were REALLY fast! Can't wait for my Niko hug. We will all miss you.
