Funeral Services for Nickles O. Caffey of Lake Fork will be held June 24, 2016.
Visitation will be at Rader Funeral Home Longview , Texas, Thursday June 23, 2016 6 to 8 pm.
Graveside services will be Friday June 24, 2016 at Lakeview Cemetery.
Nick was born August 19, 1935 in Big Sandy, Texas to Walter J. Caffey and Grace Dodson Caffey. He passed
away at his home June 21, 2016 .
He lived in Chandler Texas before moving to Lake Fork so spend his senior years
fulfilling his life long passion of fishing. He had two dear fishing partners Pat Humphries and Pam Newsom of Lake Fork.
Nick served in the United States Air Force and retired from Crown Cork and Seal as well as
Campbell Soup co.
He is preceded in death by wives Rose Ann Caffey and Wanda Caffey, sister Barbara Caffey and son William Hoadley.
Nick is survived by his sister Sandra Marak of Sherman ,Texas, daughters Faye Meeler of Bermuda Dunes, California,
Lorrie Erway of Olatha, Kansas, Anna Martin of Liberty City, Texas, and sons Douglas Caffey of Yancey, Texas, Walter Caffey of Chandler, Texas, Ivan Hoadley of Dallas, Texas, Lynn Hoadley of Lindale, Texas and Larry Hoadley of Tyler Texas. He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
