Nick Bellamy's Obituary
Nicholas Lee Bellamy, born September 19, 1978, in Longview, Texas, was called home to be with the Lord during the night of February 11, 2026, at the age of 47.
He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Betty Sue Bellamy and Jeannine Keasler Butler, who now rejoice in their reunion with him.
Nick is survived by his devoted wife, Alisha Anne White Bellamy, and his beloved children, Madison Melissa Downey, Loni Monroe Bellamy, and Liam Atlas Bellamy. He is also survived by his parents, James and Renita Bellamy; his brothers, Lance (and Violet) and Noah (and Jessica) Bellamy, and their children; and his grandfather, Charles Butler. In addition, Nick leaves behind a large and loving extended family—many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who cherished him and whose lives were brightened by his presence.
For the last twenty years, Nick was one of the hardworking men who keep our world running through the oil and gas industry, most recently as District Manager for Eastern Energy Services, Inc. His dedication to his work was matched only by his devotion to the people he loved.> Nick had many interests, all known to those who knew and love him. His style & fashion were unmatched, but close behind was his love of cooking/grilling and entertaining gardening/plants, hunting trips, old cars, music, and organization.
Nick was a loving husband and father, faithful friend, tireless worker, and a joyful, honorable man. Above all, he was a Christian, and his faith shaped every part of his life. Grace Creek Church was his home church and a place very dear to him, where he worshiped, was baptized, grew in faith, and found his treasured spiritual family. Though he was called home far too soon, his family and friends take comfort in knowing this separation is only for a moment…until they are reunited again.
A celebration of life for Nick will be held at Grace Creek Church at 2pm on Wednesday, February 18. A reception will follow at The Chateau at 6629 Tryon Rd, Longview, TX 75605.
