I knew Jean for only a few years at the hospital and very much enjoyed my time working with her. At the same time as being a very good Nurse, she always seemed to put a little smile on my face. I'm very sorry for your loss as I know if she was a positive force as I knew her, than she must of brought a great amount of joy to others.
I worked with Jean for many years at Mother Francis OR. She was a dedicated nurse and a person who always stood up for what she felt was right. Her Mother Frances family will always remember her fondly.

Her OR family at CTMF knew her as Jean. I met Jean in 1993 at CTMF, where she showed me the ropes and kept me in line. Jean was known for her attention to details which I appreciated.
Jean also had a sense of humor even in uncomfortable situations.
I remember when Jean had to have surgery, we were more nervous for her than she was. Little did we know that Jean had placed 😁 stickers on her body which we discovered after she was asleep. It made us laugh and put us at ease. Even when we were suppose to take of her, she took care of us.
Rest in Peace my sweet nurse, your work is done.

So many memories when we worked together in the OR at Mother Frances back in the 1980's. Then reconnected when I started going to Marvin Methodist in 2009 and ended up in the same Sunday School class as Jean. Always upbeat and smiling and a greeting to everyone she knew.
Cindy, I've mailed a letter today for the family mailed to the funeral home and I assume it will get to you.
At the point I feel comfortable returning to church I'll miss seeing my longtime friend Jean. I agree with Julie that she was such a blessing to Marvin Church and to all of us who knew her along with the kids she made comfortable and welcoming in their church.

I have many great memories of Jean and her servant heart. She would welcome people into our church. Faithfully attended the pastor’s Bible study each week. But for me her greatest service was to kids snd to me in the Children’s ministry. She was an “unofficial greeter” who would boom a loud welcome as each child came in. She also volunteered many times to do all kinds of small tasks to help prepare for VBS. She had a great smile - a loving heart - and a kind spirit. Heaven will be a more welcoming place with Jean at the gate!
