Nelagene Pool's Obituary
Services for Nelagene "Jean" Pool , 74, of Lake Cherokee will be 10 Am Friday, September 20th at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gary Orr officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery. Mrs. Pool died Tuesday, September 17th at her residence.
She was born September 20, 1927 at Lewisville, Arkansas to William and Mary Pruitt Alexander. Mrs. Pool was a homemaker and served as a secretary at the First Baptist Church of Camden, Arkansas. She had been a resident of Lake Cherokee for seven years and was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church at Lakeport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Pool and a daughter, Jan Benson. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Hal Martin of Lake Cherokee; a son-in-law, Donald Benson of Gurdon, Arkansas; grandchildren, Randy, Terry, Brandon, Chad, Holly, and Chris Martin, Deanna and Donny Benson; six great grandchildren; a brother-in-law and wife, Clayton and Dru Pool of Swifton, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Memorial donations may be made to Greater Hospice of Texas, 814 Gilmer Rd., Longview, TX 75604 or to The Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 8286, Longview, TX 75607.
