Natalie Clapp Graves' Obituary
Services for Natalie Clapp graves, 93, of Longview, will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday July 13, 2023, at Rader Funeral Home in Longview with interment will follow her service at Rosewood Park. Natalie went to be with the Lord in the early hours of Saturday, July 8, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Natalie was born September 17, 1929, to parents, A.E. Clapp, and Mabel Pinkham Clapp. Following graduation from Longview High School she attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and a Kappa Alpha sweetheart. Following graduation from Southwestern, Natalie held several jobs till she was hired as a teacher for the Longview ISD. She taught Speech and English to 10th graders. She retired after 25 years of teaching.
Natalie was proceeded in death by both parents: as well as her sisters, Charlotte Halbert, Nita Avery, and a twin sister, Norma who died at birth.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Beth May and spouse Kenneth, Mike Graves, and spouse Nan all of Longview; eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hawkins Creek Assisted Living and Marshall Hospices Care.
