Nancy Myers Roberts
Funeral services for Nancy Myers Roberts, 77, of Carthage will be held at 2 PM Monday, October 11, 2004 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Entombment will be in Rosewood Park Mausoleum. She passed away Saturday morning in a Longview hospital.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Roberts was born April 30, 1927, in Bonham, Texas, to Virginia and Harris F. Myers, Sr. She moved to Longview in 1986 from Garland, Texas, and in 2001, she moved to Carthage. She was a retired bookkeeper for Southland Corporation in Dallas. She loved to travel, and had traveled the world. Mrs. Roberts was a member of the St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Longview, and volunteered her service to the Good Shepherd Medical Center Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Russell Roberts.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons and daughters-in-law, Brian L. and Ann Roberts of Lewisville, TX., and Brad and Dalene Roberts of Carthage; brother and sister-in-law, Harris and Lois Myers, Jr. of Bonham, TX.; grandsons, Greg Roberts of Carrollton, TX., Mark Crouch of Fruitland Park, FL., and Doug Crouch of Phoenix, AZ.; great granddaughters, Savannah Crouch and Juliana Crouch; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
