Nancy Lee Pinkston's Obituary
Memorial service for Nancy Pinkston will be held in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23 at 12pm. The family would like to greet friends the hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Nancy went to be with the Lord in the afternoon of Thursday, April 21, 2016 surrounded by her family.
Nancy was born in Rockford IL, to loving parents Benjamin “Ben” and Dorothy Jenkins on April 14, 1945. Following high school, Nancy married the love of her life, Charles Pinkston. She and Charles owned and operated the Lake Deerwood Drive Thru until their retirement. Ultimately, Nancy enjoyed her entire life, especially her spending time with her family. She would love spending time in her garden tending to her vegetables, and raising her rabbits.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Dorothy Jenkins; her brothers Ralph, and Bob Jenkins and James Bruner; and sister Janet Jenkins. Those left to cherish their memories of Nancy include her Son, Danny Pinston of Harleton, TX; daughters Tracy Field of League City TX, and Susan Youngberg of Longview TX; step-daughter Debra Jean Clute of Conway, AR; grandchildren Shannon, Keri, Billy, Ethan, Mason, Haden, William, Allison, and Sarah; her few great-grandchildren; brothers, David and John Jenkins; sisters Rose Lawler, Paulette Cardey, Kathey Scheise. Nancy will also be remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
