Nancy Ann Dickard McCoy's Obituary
Nancy Ann Forsyth Dickard McCoy, 82, passed away on Sunday December 17, 2017. She was born on March 13, 1935 in Marshall, Texas to Lloyd and Alice Forsyth, Sr.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Alice and Lloyd Forsyth Sr.; Husband, Clarence H. (Smokey) McCoy; Brothers Joseph Lawrence Forsyth and Lloyd Forsyth; and son Stephen Lloyd Dickard.
She is survived by sons and daughters in law, Jimmy and Michelle Dickard of Ft. Worth, TX, Harrison and Peggy McCoy of Ft. Worth; Daughters and sons in laws, Laura and Terry Tucker of Albuquerque, NM and Doris and Sam Medrano of Shreveport, LA.; granddaughter Lacy Acevedo of Dallas; grandson James B. Dickard of Dallas; step grandchildren Matthew Grantham, Joye Price of South Carolina and Allen J. Dantes, Nicole C. Dantes, and Anthony J. Dantes of Shreveport, LA. as well as 10 great grandchildren.
Mrs. McCoy attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was the Rosary leader at St. Vincent De Paul Society, Grief Support Group and Perpetual adoration at St. Mary’s and Eucharistic Minister. She was employed as a bookkeeper for McWilliams Furniture and later went on to own Dickard Draperies in Longview from 1964 till 2005. She loved fishing and reading.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, December 22, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church beginning at 2 pm. A Rosery will take place on Thursday December 21, 2017 beginning at 6 pm with a visitation to begin at 6:30 pm to 8 pm at The Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
