Nancy Lee Horton's Obituary
A celebration of the life of Nancy Lee Horton, former resident of the Danville Community, will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at the chapel of Radar Funeral Home in Longview, Texas. Burial will follow at Danville Cemetery, Kilgore, Texas.
Nancy was born on December 9, 1935, to Ivy Lou and Porter Samuel Horton, pioneer family of Gregg County, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jesse Bertram Horton, and a sister, Margaret Horton Gunn.
Nancy is survived by two nieces. Joyce and husband, C. M. Howell, of Dallas, and their children, Porter Howell of Nashville, Tennessee, and Kendall Howell Vela of Dallas, and Catherine and husband, Dennis Hopkins, of Arlington, Texas, and son Noah Sheetz of Milan, New York.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to James L. West Alzheimer Center, 1111 Summit Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76102.
