Memorial services for Nancy Gayle Oestreich will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2009 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Pastor Darrell Howanitz officiating. The family will receive condolences immediately following the service.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at the Elks Lodge, 2101 E. Marshall Ave., Longview, Thursday, September 17 at 6:30 p.m. Memorials can be made at the gathering.
Nancy was born March 30, 1960, in Gladewater. On Sunday, September 13, she left this world to fulfill a greater purpose after a short battle with cancer.
She was a lifetime resident of Longview and graduated from Pine Tree High School in 1978. She was employed by Tatum Music Company as a bookkeeper for 23 years. She was an active member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Ladies Auxiliary #4125, the Benevolent and Protected Order of the Elks Lodge, #1128. She held many offices in her memberships.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother and father, Dean and Lester Oestreich; sister and brother-in-law, Jacqueline and Larry Morris; special friend, Anita Spradlin Miller, brother, Rickey Oestreich; nephews Derek, Matthew, and Russell; and numerous cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
