Nancy Elaine Deutsch's Obituary
Nancy Elaine Deutsch was born in Minneapolis Minnesota on September 6, 1942. She grew up in Saint Paul Minnesota and married the love of her life, Larry Deutsch on December 30, 1961. They moved from Saint Paul to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where they raised their three daughters – Lisa, Jodi, and Christine. Nancy and Larry lived in Memphis Tennessee and Carmel Indiana before retiring to Hallsville, Texas.
Nancy worked throughout her life and earned some college credit hours toward an accounting degree at Christian Brothers College in Memphis Tennessee. She held many roles in accounting, ending her payroll career at Carmel Schools. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed cooking, stained glass, and sewing. She had many talents and loved to make doll clothes for her great granddaughter and other little boys and girls.
Nancy was a kind-hearted, compassionate, and selfless person, who was very attentive to her family and friends. Nancy never met a stranger and if she could make someone’s day brighter, she would go out of her way. Nancy doted over her husband and daughters, providing advocacy, love, and support when needed.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Larry of 59 years, her three daughters, Lisa White and her husband Mike, Jodi Thompson and her husband Ronnie, and Christine Winters and her husband Randy. She is also survived by her brother, Charles Schroyer and wife Marilyn, grandsons Erich and Colin White and his wife Michelle, granddaughter Mallory Kipf and her husband Greg, and grandsons Connor Thompson and his wife Morgan, Christopher and Tanner Thompson, Mitchell, Andrew and Braden Wilson, great granddaughter, Lucy Kipf, and great grandsons, Harrison Kipf, and Asa Thompson, and many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her beloved dogs Abby, Cooper, and Bella who brought her joy during her last days on earth.
As per her request private cremation will take place under the care of Rader Funeral Home, Longview. there will be no public services at this time.
