Mitchell Watson's Obituary
Mitchell Watson, 78, of Longview passed away July 30th 2019 at home with his loving family by his side. He was born March 6th 1941 in Leesville, Louisiana to Bud Watson and Ella Chaney Watson. Mr. Watson spent 47 amazing years married to his wife Gail Watson and was a retired long haul truck driver for Groendyke-Mobley Trucking. He also loved spending his time taking care of his grandchildren and all of his animals.
A celebration of his life service will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Trinity Baptist Church in Lakeport with visitation from 11:00 to 12:00 prior. Burial will follow in Memory Park.
Those left to cherish the wonderful memories of Mr. Watson are his loving wife, Gail Watson. His children Michael and wife Angela Watson, Jerri Lynn Watkins, Angie Davis McTee, Patti Manshack, Pam Smith, and Christy Procell. As well as, his grandchildren; Lindsey, Jaron, Breannan, Jaci, Hollis, Ashton, Candance, Amber, Lacy, and great-grandchildren; Alania and Jessup. He will be deeply missed by many cherished church family members, neighbors, and family members.
The family would like to express special thanks to Heritage Hospice for their amazing care and love they gave to Mr. Watson while taking care of him in his final time and being a huge blessing to the entire family.
