Miriam Woodard Davis
Miriam Woodard Davis, age 88, of Hallsville, passed away June 15, 2013 at
Whispering Pines Lodge Nursing Home in Longview.
She was born August 3, 1924 in Linden, Texas to Roy and Carrie Stone. It was there she graduated from Linden high school.
Eventually Miriam met O'Neal Woodard in Odessa, Texas and in 1957 they were married until his passing in 1996.
Miriam was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Hallsville. She also enjoyed tending to her garden and loved spending time with her family and taking care of them. Miriam was a true caregiver to all she loved and will be sorely missed by all.
Left to cherish her memories are her two sons Larry Kellum and Jimmy Woodard, her daughter Cherrie Adair and her husband Mark, 3 grandchildren Susan Neely, Angel and Jeremy Kellum and several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in passing by her dear husband of 39 years O'Neal Woodard and her parents Roy and Carrie Stone.
There will be a time of visitation Monday, June 17, 2013 from 5pm-8pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview then Graveside services will be the next day, Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Hallsville Cemetery starting at 2pm.
