Minnie Mai McGaha's Obituary
Services for Minnie Mai McGaha, 88, will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2005 at Elmira Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Jimmy Cantey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Born December 15, 1916 in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana, she died December 1, 2005 in a local nursing home. She had lived in Gregg County for many years. She was a homemaker and member of Elmira Chapel for 66 years. She was loved by anyone who was ever privileged to have met her and will be missed by her family and a multitude of friends. She had a sweet smile and a glowing countenance that would brighten anyone?s day. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny J. McGaha and a son Thomas E. McGaha.
Minnie is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Jo Ann and Michael Buckley and Sherry and Bill Bolt, nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, on Friday evening December 2, 2005 from 6:30 ? 8:00 p.m.
