Milton Ray Gibson's Obituary
Milton Ray Gibson went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 27, 2025, in Longview, Texas. He was born on March 17, 1932, in Hallsville, Texas. He is survived by his children, Becky and Thomas McKinney, Karen Taylor, and Paula Linton, as well as eight grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 7 great, great grandchildren, and his sister, Linda Gayle Rogers. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 67 years, Nora Nalda Bullock Gibson, parents Earl and Frances Gibson, siblings, Kenneth Gibson, Wendell Gibson, June Gibson Mickelboro, Virginia Gibson Pitts, and his great grandson Chance Alexander Neff. He served in the Army from 1952-1954 and retired from Texas Eastman after 40 years of service. He served faithfully in Macedonia Baptist Church and Woodland Hills Baptist Church for many years. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. His humor, quick wit, and joyful spirit will be missed by many. Services will be held at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Visitation with the family will be Monday, March 31, 2025, from 6 – 8 pm. The service will be Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 2:00 pm followed by a graveside service at Rosewood Cemetery in Rosewood, Texas.
