Miles Mijalis' Obituary
Funeral services for Miles Mijalis, 37, of Longview will be held at 1 pm Friday, November 12, 2004 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, with Father Brendon, pastor of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Shreveport, officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Park.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Miles was born August 10, 1967 to Spero and Dean Mijalis in Shreveport, LA. He passed away on November 9, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Mijalis graduated from Longview High School in 1985 and received his BS Degree in Finance at the University of Texas at Arlington. He was an employee of Fisherman?s Market.
He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Evangeline Mijalis and godmother, Evelyn Stravolemos.
Survivors include his wife Mari Mijalis; children, Miriah, Samuel and Spero; father, Spero Mijalis and mother, Dean Mijalis; an aunt, and several uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Mijalis, Gary Britton, Shawn Gardner, Robert Allen King, Chris Borras, Chris Cosse, and Steven Williams.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Cemetery Fund, 1719 Creswell St., Shreveport, LA, 71101.
