Miles Kurtis O'Fallon's Obituary
Funeral services for Miles Kurtis O'Fallon, 19, of Laneville, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 6, 2008, at the Mt. Enterprise High School Gym with Rev. Joe Orr officiating. Private burial will be at Laneville Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Miles died Wednesday, December 3, 2008.
He was born March 9, 1989, in Bastrop, Louisiana and had lived in Laneville for 8 years.
He graduated from Mt. Enterprise High School in 2008 and was a member of the football and basketball teams . He was also very active in the Ag program at Mt. Enterprise High School. He was an avid outdoorsman loving to fish and hunt and bowl and a devout Arkansas Razorback fan. He was employed as a welders helper with Nomac Drilling Company.
Miles was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and served as a volunteer for the Laneville Fire Department.
Miles was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Walter Blair Harris and Lawrence Curtis O'Fallon.
Surviving are his parents, Keith and Glenda O'Fallon of Laneville; brother, Matthew O'Fallon and wife Rachel of Abilene; grandmothers, Jean Harris of Oak Grove, LA. and Pennie O'Fallon of Denham Springs, LA; aunts and uncles, Doris and Fletcher Lassiter of Portland, AR, Lynn and Phil White of Kilbourne, LA., Raymond and Cyd Harris of Lake Providence, LA, Steven Harris of Delhi, LA., Jeff and Cathy Harris of West Monroe, LA., Lettie and Ronnie Griffis of Dayton, TX., and Charlotte Welch of Denham Springs, LA.; numerous cousins.
Pallbearers will be Billy King, Tommy Fears, Mark Tidwell, Justin Pierce, Justin Stafford, and Stephen James.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to the Laneville Volunteer Fire Department or to any Rusk County Ag Department.
