Mildred Parker's Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Parker, age 94, of Henderson, will be held at 10:00AM Saturday July 22, 2006, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home
In Henderson with the Rev. Carroll Jones, Rev. Dean Grigsby, and Rev. Bill Kuykendall officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Parker, a lifetime resident of Rusk County, passed away Thursday morning at Henderson Health and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Parker was born December 20, 1911 in Rusk County. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She had worked at Sunshine Nursing Home in New London for many years. She was also a private sitter.
Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband Donald R. Parker, and her parents Daniel Webster Hunt and Ollie Ema Hunt. She was the last of
9 children in her family.
She is survived by 2 sons and daughter in laws, Roger & Alana Parker of Lufkin, Dennis & Betty Parker of Henderson. Daughter and son ? in ?law
Mary Jo & John Ash of Mt. Enterprise. 6 Grandchildren, Lance Parker and wife Diana, Denise Weatherford and husband Randy, Tina Lambeth and husband Jason, Greg Ash and wife Jessica, Kevin Ash, Justin Ash and wife
Connie. 10 great grandchildren, Russell Webb, Noah Parker, Rebecca Weatherford, Randy Weatherford, Jonathan Ash, Katie Ash, Travis Bryan,
Stacie Bryan Little, Rodney Lambeth, and Michael Lambeth. Sister ?in-Law Fay Hunt of Kansas.She is also survived by Marion Grant, a special lifelong friend.
Pallbearers will be, Lance Parker, Greg Ash, Kevin Ash, Justin Ash,
Jason Lambeth, and Randy Weatherford.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Russell Webb, and Gary Hunt.
In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Hospice Homeplace of East
Texas, 4111 University Blvd. Tyler, Texas 75701 or to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at 6876 State Hwy 323 W. , Overton, Texas 75684
Visitation will held from 6PM until 8PM Friday at the Funeral Home
