Private services for Mildred G. Deese, 72, of Longview will be held Friday, October 26, 2001 at the Rosewood Park Mausoleum with the Reverend Carroll Holmes officiating. She died Thursday morning in a local hospital. Mrs. Deese was born March 4, 1929 in Antioch, Louisiana, and was a resident of Longview for the past 14 years, moving from Denver, CO. She was born and raised in Louisiana. She was a homemaker and a member of the Central Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Brooks L. Deese of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Tommie E. and Candra Deese of Sweetwater, TX.; grandchildren, Crystal Michelle Deese of Amarillo and Brooke Nicole Deese of College Station, TX.; and brother and sister-in-law, Joe H. and Dottie Gaston of Brenham, TX. The family request that memorial contributions be made to the Memorial and Honor Program-F, St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN., 38105-1905.
