Mike McDonald
Graveside services for Mike McDonald, 53, of Gladewater will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Liberty Road Cemetery in Harleton. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mike was born August 15, 1961 in Bastrop, LA to J.W. McDonald, Jr. and Carolyn McDonald and passed away Wednesday, July 22, in a Longview hospital. He was a supervisor and certified welder at Longview Fab and Machine. Mike was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid gardener and loved to hunt and fish.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Those left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 32 years, Patti McDonald and his children, Michael and wife Courtney and David; his grandchildren, Colton, Holt and Dallis; mother, Carolyn McDonald of Harleton; sisters and brothers, Renee` McDonald of Gladewater, Cindy Berg and husband Robert of Longview, Greg McDonald and wife Belinda of Harleton and Joey McDonald and wife Dee of Gladewater; and numerous nieces and nephews.
