Mike London's Obituary
Mike London, 72, of Longview, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014. He was born on January 31, 1942, in Toccoa, Georgia, to Bob and Cleo London. They moved to Longview in 1946. Mike graduated from Spring Hill High School in 1960. In 1968, Mike started London’s Wrecker Service with his father Bob. Mike retired in 2005 to enjoy time at the lake and traveling while his son Chris continued the tradition of London’s Wrecker Service. Mike earned his 32nd Mason’s degree with the Ashland Masonic Lodge #1138 in Diana and also belonged to the James F. Taylor Masonic Lodge #169, Hallsville, Texas.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents. Mike is survived by his son Chris (Cathy) and granddaughters Caron and Christin, and sister Mary Holland (Leon) of Warner Robbins, Georgia.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 1, at First Christian Church, Longview, with Reverend Dr. Richard Emerson officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Park. The family wishes that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the First Christian Church Memory Garden. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Longview on Friday,
