MIke Chapman's Obituary
Funeral services for Mike Chapman age 70 of Henderson will be held Friday March 6, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Rader Funeral Home of Henderson with Revs. Mike Simpson, Johnny Newton and his Nephew Steve Phillips Officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mr. Chapman died Tuesday March 3, 2009 at a local hospital. He was born March 14, 1938 in Henderson, He retired from the United States Air force after 20 years as a Master Sergeant then retiring from Pritchard and Abbott as a Registered Tax Appraiser. He was preceded in death by his father Homer Clyde Chapman, mother and step father Francis and Cheston Coston and Brother Jerry Chapman. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Darlene Chapman of Henderson, 2 sons and daughter in laws Curtis and Rhonda Chapman of Henderson, Greg and Lisa Chapman of Sulphur Springs one daughter and son in law Debbie and Kevin Snyder of Longview. Brother and Sister Homer Clyde Chapman Jr. of Alexandria La. And Becky Phillips of Henderson. 9 Grandchildren Shey Chapman, Michael Neal Chapman, Brandon Chapman, Katy Chapman, Joshua Snyder, Sarah Snyder, Hannah Snyder, Micah Snyder and Leah Snyder.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 at the funeral Home.
Pallbearers will Randy Wade, Ricky Sipes, Jeff Bonial, David Chapman, Terrell Paul and Jeff Bennett
In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Henderson.
