Miguel Angel Castillo's Obituary
Miguel Angel Castillo, a poignant and pivotal inspiration to many, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024 in Alexandria, Louisiana. Known by his close friends and family as “Michael” was born June 29, 1999 in Longview, Texas, where he would spend his life doing everything from fixing vehicles, doing donuts and entertaining friends, family and many alike!
Miguel’s journey was shared with a plethora of friends and family. His legacy will live and be carried by his mother, Brenda Castillo Gonzalez; grandparents, Raquel Gonzalez & Miguel Lara; his siblings, Jazmyne Castillo, Abraham Castillo and Nicholas Castillo; uncles Raul Gonzalez, Fernando Gonzalez and Aunts Maria Torres and Alexandria Baker; and his cousins Dominique Castillo & Kayla Castillo; nieces Evelyn Castillo and Jocelyn Peters and nephew Lennox Peters. Most importantly, he will be represented in life by his son Giovanni Resendiz, to whom he loved and cherished more than anything.
Miguel was a man of many hobbies and talents. He was most famous for riding to different car meets, going to show, and showcasing whichever vehicle he had at the time to not only its full potential but to his as well! He was also a very avid sand volleyball player, which he enjoyed playing with most of his friends and family!
Those who got to know and knew Michael can attest to the fact that he enjoyed his time and loved spending time with the people he loved and cared about. He always found a way to make a lasting impression on anyone he met for the better. He always made an impeccable impact on anyone he came across.
As we bid farewell to our friend and brother, we hold him tight in our hearts and cherish the lasting memories of him. Miguel Castillo’s story is not one of a that lived, but a life that truly mattered. As we say goodbye to Michael, we take comfort in knowing that he is now in a better place and with us our guardian angel!
