Michel Shawn Story's Obituary
Michel Shawn Story was born October 28, 1982 in Longview, TX to Sherry Sharp and Ricky J. Story. Weighing in at a whopping 4 lbs 12 oz. He was a fighter from the start. Michel left this world the morning of Oct. 1, 2018. He lived a life surrounded by friends and loved ones, and boy did he know how to live. He was a passionate man and did everything in life with a hands on attitude. He was a passionate fisherman that loved nothing more than being on a boat with his friends "rippin those lips" as he would say. That is where he found his zen in life. He was a truck driver by profession and always loved a good Peterbilt. Michel was always ready to entertain and show you what good food "really was". Eating out was not an option when he could just make something even better at home. He loved his children so much and left a light in their eyes that will burn on forever. He would do anything in this world to see his babies smile but you better watch out if one of them was hurt in any way. He was a teacher, father, consoler, mentor and friend to so many. He was just "Everything" .When Michel left this world he left a complete void that will be filled one day when we see his smiling face in heaven. Michel was preceded in death by his grandmother Lela Beall, grandfather Bill Story, and grandfather Bill Sharp, he is survived by his mother Sherry Sharp and step father Barry Sharp of Henderson, his father Ricky J. Story of Tatum, grandmother Barbara Story, grandmother Becky Sharp, brothers Jason Story, Brenton Sharp and Johnathan Sharp and sisters Ashley Story and Malorie Perez, as well as a couple of gentleman he considered brothers on his journey. His wife and partner in this journey Tiffany Story of Henderson and his loving beautiful children Taylor Shawn Story of Louisiana, Eli Matthew Story and Gracelyn Michele Story of Henderson and Torie Langston and Sean Langston of Henderson. He left behind 2 beautiful grandbabies Taytum LeeAnn (TayTay) And Carsen Lane (PawPaws boy). Michel was a Christian and a member of New Life Church. Michel will never know what he meant to so many. And will live on in us all. Its time to say goodbye my love your fight on earth is done. Until we see you again enjoy the fishing up there and watch over us all. A memorial service will be Monday October 8, 2018 at 6:00pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Blizzard officiating. Visitation will be from 5pm ~ 6pm before the service.
