Dear Mrs. Clark, Kyle and Kris -
My Dad, Ralph, called me to tell me that Mr. Clark had passed away. I was so saddened to hear the news. I had him forward me the obituary and I am glad to have opportunity to express my sympathy to you all. I always loved Mr. Clark and knowing that I had a real live Cowboy for a neighbor on Meadowknoll was always cool! I wish you all well and my God grant you peace through this difficult time.
With deepest sympathies -

Just wanted to say I was sorry to hear of Mike's passing. My family lived a 505 South Jean Drive in Longview in 1955 and I remember Mike kicking balls over Pinewood Park. Our gang was about 4 years younger and we always looked up to Mike. He was always willing to spend some time with us "kids." Joe Blair was one of my best friends and he lived next door to the Clarks. We were all so proud of Mike's accomplishments even though we really didn't know him that well and I am sure he wouldn't remember us. He will always be a celebrity to us. I live in PA now and lots of folks up here remember Mike kicking here for the Eagles.

Kris,
I wanted to write you a note but I do not have your new address.
I was very saddened to hear about your father passing away. I know that there are no words that I can say that will help subside the loss that you feel for your father.
You and your entire family are in our thoughts and prayers.
God Bless

I grew up next door to the Clarks on Jean Drive in Longview. I have many happy memories of Jean Drive in the 50's and 60's. Mike was five years older and very much a hero to me. My condolences to the entire family.
