Michael S. "Mikey" Henderson
Funeral services for Michael S. "Mikey" Henderson, 49, of Longview will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Living Word Church, 1567 FM 1252, Kilgore, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Burial will follow in Kilgore Memorial Gardens in Kilgore. Mikey passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013 at his residence in Longview.
Mikey was born August 21, 1963 in Terrell, TX to Jerry and Zo Henderson. He was a very talented self-employed carpenter. He was a veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard and a former officer in the American Legion. Mikey was a friend to everybody.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry and his brother Alan.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Zo Henderson of Longview; sisters, Tammy Hazel and husband David of East Mountain and Pam Gardner and husband Dale of Longview; sister-in-law, Jennifer Henderson of Longview; 1 niece and several nephews.
