Michael Lynn Sherwood's Obituary
Michael Lynn Sherwood, 60, of Diana, TX, met his Lord and Savior on June 9, 2017. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He worked for East Texas Clarklift, Longview ISD, and Deep South Equipment. He loved his home, country, family and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Lillie Sherwood, and his brother, James. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lanette of Diana, son Chris and daughter-in-law Charlotte of Leonard, TX, sister, Linda Dooley and husband Lonnie of Hawkins TX, and sister-in-law Lois Sherwood of Mineral Springs Arkansas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is remembered with love by his 3 granddaughters, one grandson and April Johnson.
He was a hardworking, dedicated man who gave nothing less than his all at everything he did. He will be missed immensely by all of his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, June 14 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Schulik officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the House of Hope (3011 West Marshall Ave, Longview TX, 75604) in Michael’s name.
