Michael Wayne Renfroe's Obituary
Michael Wayne Renfroe, age 70, of Longview, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Hospice of East Texas’ Home Place in Tyler, Texas. Mike was born in Beaumont, Texas to Harrell and Ruth Renfroe on September 7, 1945. Mike was a Navy veteran and a retiree of Eastman Chemical Company. He attended New Diana schools and graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1964. He enjoyed golf, games, sports and music of the 1960’s. He was also an avid Arkansas Razorback fan.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his “Mom” Louise Otis Renfroe, Sisters; Sherry Renfroe Powell, Carol Renfroe Smith, and Martha Otis Coach and brothers; Bill, Jack, and George Otis.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 46 years, June Renfroe, daughter and son-in-law Shannon and Troy Parlin, son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Melissa Renfroe, his grandchildren; Sarah and Daniel Parlin and Jacob, Asher, and Gracie Renfroe.
A Celebration of his Life service will be 10 am, Friday, July 1, 2016 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Private interment will take place following services.
A time of visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 6pm-8pm.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to all of Mike’s doctors, nurses and caregivers.
