Michael Ryan McCrory's Obituary
A Memorial Celebration of Life and a time for Remembrances for Michael Ryan McCrory, 23, of Longview will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 3 pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview with Pastor Roy James officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday. Private visitation will be offered on Friday to those who desire visitation. Saturday’s service is a time of joy and honor of Michael’s life. Please bring your stories and love to share.
Michael was born February 13, 1991 in Creve Coeur, Missouri and passed away on May 26, 2014 in Longview, Texas. He earned his Eagle Scout status in 2005 and graduated from Pine Tree High School in 2009. Michael studied criminal justice at Kilgore College. In March of 2013, Michael fulfilled his dream of joining the Army.
Michael’s genuine personality enabled him to not only make friends quickly, but to forge lifelong relationships. Michael enjoyed Martial Arts achieving black belt status in both Tae Kwon Do and Karate. Michael will be most remembered for his warm smile, his huge hugs, and his strong, yet gentle hands that were always willing to aide a friend in need. His countless friends worldwide are an enduring testament to his belief in brotherly love.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Dr. KAE McCrory of Longview; his brother, Justin McCrory of Longview. A loving extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins also survive Michael.

Any flowers received at the Remembrances and Celebration of Life will be placed on the graves of veterans upon conclusion of the services.
