Michael Lloyd Williams
Graveside services for Michael Lloyd Williams, 61, of Longview will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2006 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with the Reverend David Lawson officiating. Entombment will be under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Monday at Lakeview prior to the service. Mike passed away Friday, December 30, 2005 in a Longview hospital.
Mike was born September 16, 1944 in Longview to Lloyd T. and Evelyn Williams. He was a former resident of Houston, where he was employed with Cameron Iron Works and he moved back to Longview 10 years ago to work for the Nieman Marcus Distribution Center.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, the Reverend C. L. and Peggy Porter.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son Lance Williams of San Francisco, CA; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Bob Fox of Galveston; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Prentice Conway of Shreveport; grandchildren, Caleb Fox and Ethan Fox; niece, Susan Conway of Shreveport; and several cousins and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oakland Heights Baptist Church, 1600 Judson Rd., Longview, TX 75601, or to a charity of choice.
