Barbara we were neighbors for so long, I've known you knew Mike for 40 years. We all had such good times together. It's ironic that he died 1 month after Jeff, they really had a good time together. Good memories that's what we hang onto. Now you & I can go through being widows at the same time. You know how much I love you & we will get through this together, it's a process that's for sure. I am so very sorry for your loss. I know Mike because he and I worked a very tough CPS case a couple of years ago in Upshur County. He was the CASA volunteer and I was the Attorney Ad Litem. We have remained in touch and I'm very glad that I saw him and visited with him at the Courthouse in Longview just a few weeks ago. For me, he was always like the "light at the end of the tunnel." The dedication and the humanity that Mr. Hampton exhibited speaks volumes of his heart. He was a wonderful force to be reckoned with when it came to advocacy and the best interest of children who faced difficulties due to abuse and neglect. His voice echoed strength, courage, and wisdom. Personally, he encouraged me so much to fight for what is right and to stand tall. God bless Mrs. Hampton and the entire family as each day passes! Give them strength unmatched to endure and persevere.

I am Pauline Morgan Casa volunteer, I have shared many great stories with Mike over the years. I also shared my casa cafe foods with him he loved food I am picky so he help me look like I eat what I put on my plate always with a smile.
