Memorial services for Merlon Charles ?Punky? Gochneaur, 71, of Glenwood Acres, will be 12 Noon Saturday, November 6, 2004 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home,
1617 Judson Rd., Longview, Texas, with Elder Bobby J. Gray officiating.
Mr. Gray is an elder with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
?Punky? was born June 24, 1933 in Ashtabula, Ohio to Asa and Hazel Evans Gochneaur.
He passed away Wednesday morning, November 3, 2004 at his residence.
Mr. Gochneaur worked as a maintenance superintendent for Crosby-LeBus .
He had been a resident of the Glenwood Acres area for 22 years coming from Jefferson, Ohio.
Merlon is survived by his loving wife, Peggy of Glenwood Acres; sons, Gregg Gochneaur, Douglas Gochneaur, and Randy Gochneaur, all of Jefferson, Ohio, Steve Semety of Mantua, Ohio and Ernie Semety of Glenwood Acres; brother,
Robert Gochneaur of Northeast Maryland; sisters, Shirley Moore of Ashtabula, Ohio, Betty Wright of Conneaut, Ohio; three grandchildren, Lacey, Jimmy and Megan.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to Humane Society of Gregg County,
303 Enterprise, Longview, Texas 75604.
