Melody Jean Medders-Garcia transitioned to rest surrounded by her loving family and friends on April 16, 2019 at 7:13am. She loved fiercely and was by far, the funniest person anyone has ever met! There was not a more proud mother when it came to her children and grandchildren. She unselfishly devoted her whole life to her family, husband, and friends. She had the greenest eyes, most infectious smile, and will be missed by everyone.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, my “MichaelShane”; her babies “BCD” Brittaney Medders, “Shakey”, Casi Medders “Lou”, and Trey Sterns, “Son”. Her grandchildren Zoe “Rudy” Konnar “Sweetman” Karver “Su” Their favorite brother Danny Medders; ; best friends AKA sisters Dana Minor and Cindy Paxton. She was met in heaven by her Daddy, Billy Carl Medders.
Funeral services will be held at Rader Funeral Home in Longview TX on April 20, 2019 at 2pm. Visitation will take place an hour prior at 1pm. Friends and family are all welcome to come, reminisce, grieve, laugh, and support each other in honor of our mother.
