My office was right next to Melissa for more than 5 years - when she worked at VertexRSI/General Dynamics in Kilgore TX.
During those 5 years I do not recall one time seeing Milissa appearing to be in a bad mood. It brings me joy (right now) remembering those times and what a truly remarkable person I had been associated with during those days.
My general observation would be - that our world would certainly be a more pleasant place to live if there were a few more like her. Consistently considering the benefit of other individuals ahead of her own self gratification.
For the true believer - we know that she has just gone out ahead of us - like in one of her fun runs or something. We can take comfort in knowing that she is out in front of us. We must now wait on the opportunity to cross paths again with our Sweet Milissa. The next time will be in a more exciting way that we can comprehend - with her mentor.

My heart goes out to each of you who loved Melissa as daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. May you find comfort through Christ and knowing that Melissa has been welcomed by Him. I pray for peace for you all.

I am so very very sorry! Such a beautiful young lady inside and out. Steve, Tony and Nina especially as well as Joyce and Walter and the entire family I know how much she will be terribly missed and how much she was loved by everyone that knew her. She was always so very sweet and so bubbly. Her love of life was contagious. May her soul and the souls of all our dearly departed loved ones rest in peace and may the perpetual light of salvation shine upon her and her family. God be with you all in your time of need.

Words can't express how sorry I am for your tremendous loss. I will be unable to join with the family and friends as you celebrate Melissa's life at the visitation Thursday and funeral Friday, but I will be thinking of you and praying that God will heal your grief. Love to you all, Sharon Wise
