Melba Joyce Kundert Anderson
Graveside services for Melba Joyce Kundert Anderson, 72, of Longview, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2005 at Rosewood Park. Burial will be under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Wednesday, September 21, in a Longview hospital.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Anderson was born October 15, 1932 in Warren, Arkansas to William E. and Clara Gambill Kundert, and had been a resident of Longview since 1955. She was a homemaker, and a former site manager for the Senior Citizens Nutrition Center. She was also the former Activities Director at Colonial Manor and worked for the Social Security Office.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her former husband, Merle Dene Anderson; her parents; sister, Elsie Lois Proffit; and brother Ellis Laverne Kundert.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, David Anderson of Lake Cherokee; daughter, Joyce Anderson Baird of Gladewater; sisters, Jean Blakley of Longview; and Jane Farthing of Longview; brother, Don Kundert of Alvarado, TX; granddaughters, Christi, Traci, Kelli, and Karissa; great granddaughters, Emeri, Patience, Kayeli, and Kylee.
