Melba Faye Beall's Obituary
“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.”
Proverbs 31:28
Melba Faye Beall went home on March 15, 2025, to rejoice with her heavenly family in eternal life. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by those she left behind.
Melba had a passion for quilting, crocheting, and making homemade biscuits for her family. We will cherish the beautiful memories she created with us.
She is survived by her daughters, Margarette and Johnnie Floyd and Carolyn and Gary Smith, and her son, Freddie Wayne Beall, all from Henderson. She adored her grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Nannie”. She made each of them feel special, and they will deeply miss teasing her. Her grandchildren include William and Shelia Floyd, Stephanie Smith, Brittany Beall, Lacy and C.J. Teel, Stephen and Jill Smith, and Buddy Beall, all from Henderson. Her great-grandchildren – Samantha, Brooklyn, and Allyson Floyd; Zoie, Mia, and Briley Teel; Gracie Cary; Conner Beall; and Colton and Wylie Smith – brought her endless joy and kept her young at heart.
Melba was born on September 19, 1932, to Eric and Ada Mason in Cushing, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, O.C. Beall; her sons, Charles, Rondal and Donal Beall; and her siblings, Beatrice Ballard, Deloris Harper, Betty Griffin, Nelda Ruston, Jack Mason, Bill Mason, Pete Mason, Norman Mason, and Arthur R. Mason.
A private family graveside service will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Zion Hill Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Autumn Leaves for seven years of loving care, as well as Angel Care Hospice for their support.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angel Care Hospice in her memory.
