Bailey/Johnson family, I was very sad to find out that Mrs. Bailey has passed away. I'm so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful lady and very special to me. She played an important role in my discipleship as a new teenage believer, just over 15 years ago now. The first, true spiritual influencer I had was "Miss Bailey" as I used to call her—she was perhaps my first taste of God's grace and a model of what a Christian was. I'm grateful to have had an opportunity to sit down with her about 10 years ago to thank her for this. She is part of my story and I feel great loss today as I grieve her passing. Until glory I will not know the full impact of God graciously placing her in my path. But I know that I'm better for it. I thank God for Miss Bailey's life, her long life, and that I was fortunate to have shared a short portion of it. She danced the dance and she's now dancing with her Jesus. Praying peace over your family.

Precious, beautiful, loving, encourager all come to mind when I think of sweet Melba! It is such a great honor to have known and loved this special lady. She took me under her wing as the ladies Bible study leader on Mobberly Ave. God bless you Baileys, you are in my prayers.
Always a smile! That's the way I remember Ms Melba. I met her many years ago when working with David and Ralph. She was always a happy and positive person and a joy to be around. Even though it's been many years since I've seen her, I feel blessed to have known her. My deepest condolences to all the family.
