Martin has known Melanie since she was 15 years old and he has loved her that long. We want the family to know that we are here for all of you if you ever need us. I meet Melanie many years ago, I knew right away that she would be a good friend so I grew to love her as Martin did. Melanie was always so sweet and kind, a good mother, daughter and sister. Martin & I will miss her so much but she will always be in our hearts. God Bless each and every one of you.

(Flash-back)---------- Chance Runnels remembers when he was visiting his Aunt Mel one summer when she had no air conditioner. It was a hot, scalding day so they grabbed the plastic 'kiddie pool" put it in the shade, filled it with cold water from the hose then grabbed a cool drink & jumped in. They sat most of the afternoon batting the breeze & laughing & feeling like kids again themselves.
