Mavis M. Raymer Clark
Graveside services for Mavis M. Raymer Clark, 81, of Gladewater, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2004, at LaGrone Chapel Cemetery with Paul Witt and Ethan Clark officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 16, in Longview.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, January 19, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Clark was born August 19, 1922 in Horse Branch, Kentucky to Richard and Zona Raymer. She was a homemaker, and a member the Gay Ave. Church of Christ in Gladewater.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents, 2 grandchildren, and brothers, Stanley Raymer, Albert Raymer, and Richard Raymer, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, James Clark of Gladewater; daughters, Barbara Jean Mye of Galveston and Anita Griffin of Tyler; sons, James Harrison Clark of Austin, George Richard Clark of Center, William Michael Clark, Charles Gahlen Clark of Mineral Wells, TX., and Patrick Timothy Clark of Lexington, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Arnold Raymer of Zavala, TX.; sisters, Betty Jones of Euless and Zona Crabtree of Verona, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4425 W. Airport Freeway, Suite 130, Irving, TX. 75062.
