Mavanee Bedsole's Obituary
Funeral services for Mavanee Bedsole, 75, of White Oak, will be 12 Noon Monday in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, Longview, with Rev-erend Emmitt H. Barrow officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Sunday from 6 to 8 PM. Mrs. Bedsole passed away at a lo-cal nursing center Thursday evening. A native of Gilmer, Texas, she was born October 25, 1927 and had lived in White Oak since 1982. She was a retired school teacher having taught in Mt. Pleasant and Pittsburg ISD. She received her Bachelors Degree and her Masters Degree from East Texas State College. She was a member of the Oak-crest Women?s Club, Newcomers Club and Greggton United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her par-ents: James and Isaline Cumbie and a son: James Lynn Bedsole. She is survived by her husband: Thomas K. ?Bud? Bedsole of White Oak; Son and Daughter in Law: Kenneth A. and Jan Bedsole of White Oak; Daughter in Law: Ruth Bedsole of Houston; Granddaughters: Lauren Bedsole of White Oak and Melissa Bedsole of Houston; Grandson: Bart Thomas Bedsole of Corpus Christi; Sisters: Wanzelle Finley of White Oak and Sue Fort of Longview. Those caring to may send memorials to Greggton United Methodist Church Building Fund or charity of choice.
