Maurene Williedee Davis Blackmon's Obituary
Graveside services for Maurene Williedee Davis Blackmon, 83, of Canton, will be 10 AM Tuesday, April 9, 2002 in Winterfield Cemetery with Reverend Jimmie Ferrell and Reverend Ross Cunningham officiating.
Mrs. Blackmon died Saturday morning in an Athens, Texas hospital.
Mrs. Blackmon was born November 3, 1918 in Pittsburg, TX to Robert Dee Davis and Jewel Ann Stovall Davis and was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Church.
She had lived in Canton, TX since 1998 and was a former resident of Dallas, TX. since 1945.
Mrs. Blackmon is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Orval Blackmon and wife,
Linda of Allen, TX.; daughter and son-in-law, Ruby Jo and Jerry Snow of Ben Wheeler, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Jean Davis Ferrell and B. C. Ferrell of Longview;three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-7 PM Monday evening.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Ferrell, Johnny Ferrell, Dick Cunningham,
David Cunningham and Ross Cunningham.
