Maureen Parrish's Obituary
Maureen Parrish, beloved wife, sister, mother and grandmother, departed into the arms of Jesus October 9th, 2025.
Maureen was born in Highland Park, Michigan on May 8th,1959 to Dolores and Don Ulrich.
Maureen was devoted to her Christian faith and was a loving, caring, role model mother to her surviving daughter Kelly Williams, grandson Liam and husband, Robert "Bill" Parrish. She and Bill, resided in White Oak, Texas.
After receiving her certification in American Sign Language from Tyler Junior College, she worked with deaf students in Mt Pleasant and Gilmer school systems. She earned the nickname "Bulldawg" from her students because of her compassion, sincerity and encouragement for them to succeed. Her nickname became her road name as a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and later, Combat Veteran's Motorcycle Association.
Maureen enjoyed listening to Christian Music while doing devotionals. She loved to spend time gardening and working on various crafts. She and Kelly shared this passion for crafting and completed several projects together.
Maureen was proud of her background with sign language. At times she loved to sign more than speak, mostly showing her sense of humor. Her last goal was to sign during worship at church. She was determined to use her God given gift to inspire and bless everyone.
She is survived by her mother Dolores Ulrich, twin sister Kathleen Tice, brother Mike Ulrich and several niece's and nephew's,
Services will be held at New Beginnings Baptist Church,1977 State HWY 155, Gilmer, Texas on Saturday, November 8th, 2025 at 10:30AM
In lieu of flowers, donations to Neal McCoys East Texas Angel Network can be made in Maureen's name.
