Matthew was a dear friend and brother in Christ that brought joy and laughter to those he was around. He encouraged me many times throughout our history of working together at Big Brown. He loved playing Christmas bingo with our family and friends even when his prize was socks, lol. He will be greatly missed.
There are so many good memories of Matthew, everyone one of them brings a big smile to my face! He was always available to help in anyway that he could. He had a passion for Jesus, a hunger to walk in righteousness, and a deep yearning for his family to love, raise and protect. Matthew was a friend that literally sticked closer than a brother. He is cherished and will never be forgotten, and I believe lives will be transformed by his departure. We love you Brother!

So many fond memories of Matthew Lee, not sure even where to begin. Guess it was the late 80s/early 90s BJ may remember being elder. We all went to the Catholic Church together. When he was 12 he joined us in the Columbian Squires with his twin Mark. Matthew being the older of the twins was always the first to raise his hand to help or volunteer having figured it was easier ask showing eagerness and willing to be charitable at a young age because we were always doing a project for someone or involved with the Knights. Through those years of 12-17 years of age we all got to know each other really well making us a tribe. Most of us even had jobs and worked together in the years past that, always running into each whether at the store or eating at a restaurant. So many memories and he touched, helped so many and I’m sure even saved some lives along the way as well. Although he was big and loud and proud he will always be remembered for his random acts of kindness and his tremendous personality that always brought the best in whoever was around him.
Matt worked for me at Point2 Point Security for several years... I knew when I needed help I could always count on him. I attended his graduation from the police academy and watched him grow over the years. I know Matt had his struggles, we all do. But i believe he had goodness and the Lord in his heart. I am deeply saddened and I pray that his family will find peace in knowing that Matt will have peace in the hands of our Lord. Matt, you will be missed by many people.
